Project Manager - Facades

As a Project Manager - Facades, you will oversee facade renovation projects from preparation through completion. You will monitor the schedule, quality, and budget, and ensure smooth collaboration among all parties involved.

What are you going to do?

As a project manager, you are responsible for the day-to-day oversight of your projects. Your work includes facade renovations of apartment buildings, hotels, and commercial buildings. For apartment buildings, balcony renovations are also a regular part of the project.

You will ensure that a sold project is executed smoothly and to a high standard, and you will serve as the central point of contact for all parties involved throughout the project.

You’ll work closely with our Project Manager and fellow project leaders. When a new project begins, you’ll coordinate with the Business Unit Manager to ensure a clear technical and commercial handover.

  • Together with the Business Unit Manager, you ensure a clear handoff of the sold project to the execution team.
  • You prepare your projects from both a technical and practical standpoint and ensure that all necessary information is available in a timely manner.
  • You will draw up a realistic schedule and monitor the progress of your projects.
  • You will coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • You will regularly monitor the project's progress on-site and ensure quality, safety, scheduling, and budget compliance.
  • You will maintain contact with clients, architects, property managers, and other construction partners during the project.
  • You will organize and attend site meetings as needed.
  • You identify technical or practical problems in a timely manner and work with the relevant parties to find a workable solution.
  • You monitor changes and additional work and ensure that they are properly coordinated and followed up on.
  • You will inspect the work that has been completed and oversee your projects through to completion.
  • You will ensure clear internal communication and administrative follow-up on your cases.
  • You will work closely with the Project Manager and fellow project leaders and share your knowledge and experience within the project team.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is willing to take responsibility for his or her projects, can maintain an overview, and at the same time is close enough to the job site to quickly identify and resolve problems.

  • Ideally, you have 2 to 5 years of experience as a project manager or in a relevant position within the construction industry.
  • Experience with facade renovation is a clear advantage, such as with facade insulation, decorative plaster, brick veneer, siding, or balcony renovations.
  • Do you have a broad background as an all-around project manager and an interest in facade renovation? If so, we’d love to hear from you.
  • You have sufficient technical insight to understand and critically evaluate plans, details, and implementation methods.
  • You can keep track of multiple projects and priorities at the same time without losing sight of the big picture.
  • You communicate effectively and professionally with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and colleagues.
  • You have a practical mindset and look for solutions when the reality on the job site differs from the plan.
  • You're not afraid to make decisions and take on responsibility, but you also know when it's necessary to consult with others.
  • You work independently, but collaborating with colleagues comes naturally to you.
  • You are committed to quality, safety, and proper financial oversight of your projects.
  • Experience with Bouwsoft is a plus.
  • You have a Class B driver's license.
  • You communicate professionally in Dutch. Knowledge of French and English is a plus.

What can you expect from us?

You'll have a role that offers a great deal of independence and responsibility, but you won't be on your own. You'll work as part of an experienced project team where communication and collaboration are key.

You’ll have the opportunity to oversee a variety of renovation projects and gain a deeper understanding of facade renovation and other disciplines within Group BRS.

In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

  • company car;
  • cell phone budget;
  • meal vouchers;
  • group insurance;
  • cafeteria plan;
  • laptop;
  • the option to work from home;
  • training programs and a personalized training plan;
  • 32 days of leave: 20 statutory days of leave and 12 ADV days.

At Group BRS, we observe a collective construction industry vacation during part of the summer and Christmas seasons.

Why Group BRS?

Group BRS is an ambitious and fast-growing renovation contractor based in Kortenberg, specializing in flat roofs, facades, and interiors. We renovate hotels, offices, apartment buildings, and other commercial properties, primarily in Flanders and Brussels.

We’re big enough to take on challenging projects, but small enough to stay close-knit. Communication lines are short, colleagues help each other out, and good ideas don’t have to go through multiple layers of management before they’re acted upon.

Here, you'll have the opportunity to take on responsibility, contribute your ideas, and make a real difference in how we approach our interior design projects.
